June 2011 competition

If you would like to win either a £10 or £5 voucher to redeem off your next order with Kims Colourway, then read on....

This year has been really great for Kims Colourway with lots of new items added and amazingly enough I have been busy all year long! Crochet is not just for the colder months. I now also make personalised items such as name buntings and alphabet pillows.
I have also entered the prop market and now make a few items that would be great for photographers. I am listed as a supplier on Photography Props UK for some of my more different items such as the name buntings and pillows as there are other crocheters and knitters listed for baby items already. I can still make baby items as you will see on my Facebook page so have a look through my photo props album if you are a photographer.

Autumn is just round the corner (well it's never too far away in the UK) so I am getting ready to make the biggest range of winter items for 2011. You will be seeing a lot of new designs and I will be having special offers running so keep checking my page

So competition time...

To be in with a chance of winning a £10 or £5 voucher for your next order with me just comment underneath or send me an email to kimscolourway@hotmail.co.uk  with a comment or tell me something you would like me to make in the future.

Closes : 29 August 2011 9pm GMT
Winners will be chosen at random : 30 August 2011
Vouchers are redeemable until : 01 December 2011
Email : kimscolourway@hotmail.co.uk

If you do comment below please make sure you leave your correct email address so I can contact you if you have won.

  3. Thanks for your lovely blog and great June competition!
How about making small comforter blankets - maybe a little knitted or crocheted animal head (eg a bunny or a mouse) attached to a little blanket. You could add a personalised initial or a birth date and the colours could be chosen according to the sex or parent's choice. Comforter blankets tend to be kept forever - I still have mine and I am 36 and my youngest daughter never puts her Peter rabbit one down!!! My other five children all have theirs still too !

  4. Not sure if you have already made anything like this but a crochet scarf made out of flowers would be lovely :) (similar to this http://www.flickr.com/photos/persephonesawakening/2190745936/)

  5. As you may know, over at Daydreams and Daisies, a big part of my work is quilling. One day, I dream to have the time to make creations like this unbelievably talented and patient lady - http://epherielldesigns.com/quilling-art-yulia-brodskaya ... Now that's something for me to work towards!!! Lol!

  7. Hello! I'd love to learn to crochet, my Nana used to be a dab hand at it but as she died 9 years ago there's no-one else in the family to teach me, I'm afraid :( I love your creativity; have you ever thought about classes online? I'm in Edinburgh so guess it would be a long schlepp to you every week for lessons face to face, heehee! :) Thanks for entering me in the competition xx
